Free Travel Insurance for Beyond Users
Policy Purchase & Eligibility
1. How do I become eligible for Freemium coverage?
To be eligible for this complimentary travel insurance coverage, you must fulfill all of the following eligibility requirements:
a) Successfully signed up Boost Beyond Card (Learn more: https://myboost.co/feature/beyond-card); and
b) Is aged between 18 years old to 80 years old; and
c) Is a Malaysia citizen, a permanent resident in Malaysia or a foreigner legally residing in Malaysia.
2. How many complimentary travel insurance will I be entitled to?
Each Beyond Cardholders will be entitled to one (1) complimentary travel insurance only upon successful Beyond Card application and activation.
3. What is the validity period for this complimentary travel insurance?
You have a period of 1 year from the virtual Beyond Card activation to utilize the complimentary Freemium travel insurance.
4. What is the duration of cover for this Freemium coverage?
Duration of cover is up to seven (7) days per journey.
5. What if my travel period is more than seven (7) days?
For travel periods exceeding seven (7) days, it is required to select the comprehensive plan. Coverage will encompass both the Freemium and Comprehensive plans for the first seven days, with subsequent days will be covered solely by Comprehensive plans. Premiums for the selected comprehensive plan will be borne by yourself and not included in the Freemium.
6. How much premium do Insured Persons have to pay?
No payment of premium is required. This is a complimentary insurance coverage which is issued exclusively to selected and eligible customers of the Policyholder.
7. What are the fees and charges that Insured Persons have to pay?
No fees and charges are required. This is a complimentary insurance coverage which is issued exclusively to selected and eligible customers of the Policyholder.
8. How do I redeem the Freemium coverage?
If you are eligible, the Freemium coverage will be included in your travel insurance product catalogue. To redeem it, you must complete the purchase process via the Boost eWallet.
9. How do I redeem the Freemium coverage at zero cost?
Complete the purchase process as usual. When you reach the page to select a preferred plan, simply click the next button without choosing any comprehensive plan. This will allow you to enjoy the Freemium coverage benefit at zero cost.
10. If I have Freemium coverage, can I choose to use it for my next trip instead of applying it to the current trip I am purchasing?
No, you cannot. It is set by default that you will be covered with Freemium on your first purchase after becoming eligible for the coverage.
11. When does my 1-year Freemium validity period start if I signed up for the Beyond Card before the launch of Beyond Travel?
Your 1-year Freemium validity period starts from the activation date of your virtual Beyond Card, regardless of the Beyond Travel launch date. Therefore, the validity period remains valid for 1 year from your Beyond Card activation date.
